Creativity:

Copywriters really need to be people. This is because creativity helps copywriters come up with ideas. They can then use these ideas to write stories and solve problems. Copywriters use creativity to make people remember the things they write. They write headlines that grab peoples attention and stories that people want to read. Creativity is also important because it helps copywriters write things that work well on kinds of media. They can write something. Then change it so it works well on the internet or, on television. This means that the things they write always stand out even when there are a lot of things competing for peoples attention. Copywriters need creativity to do their job well and make people notice the things they write.

Time Management:

Time management is really important for copywriters. This is because it helps them focus on the things that need to be done get everything done on time and keep working at a pace. Copywriters usually have a lot of things to do at the time like writing press releases, social media posts and marketing copy, for their clients. If they use their time well they can give each project the time it needs without making mistakes. When copywriters meet their deadlines all the time it makes their clients and colleagues trust them more. This also makes the copywriter look more professional. Time management is key for copywriters to do their job well.

Attention to Detail:

A good copywriter always pays attention to the little things. This means they read over what they write to make sure it is correct they check to see if the facts are true they make sure the tone is the same all the way through. One professional attribute of a digital marketer is being good at data analysis. This is the ability to analyse data accurately and find trends and patterns in the data. A digital marketer would need this professional attribute so they can look at trends and see what is popular when marketing so the product reaches a large number of people. For example if they are marketing a product on Tik Tok, they could look at a trending sound and post a video to that sound so it reaches a larger number of people. 


One personal attribute of a digital marketer is creativity. This is the ability of having a large imagination or coming up with original ideas to create something. A digital marketer needs this attribute as they need to be able to create original content that stands out. The content they create needs to be engaging and have unique campaign's. This is so the product they are marketing stands out helping promote the campaign therefore reaching a larger audience.

A social media manager needs to be creative and organised. This is because the job is not only posting stuff online, it is also on how the social media managers use the data and insights to pick which content they want to show and share and when to do it. By writing in an engaging way is important as well as being and keeping consistent with the brand.   This is important because a social media manager will be marketing products online for audiences. They need these skills to attract the attention of an online audience and the more original there content is the more likely it is to go viral, therefore more sales on the product. Not only this but a social media manager needs to be organised because they are responsible for the oversee of all platforms relating to social media and therefore there needs to be contingency across all platforms. 


A social media manager should have trend spotting skills. Nowadays when posting something online it can easily go viral, by a social media manager having trend spotting skills they will know what is going to gather the most views from the audience. They should follow trends but also be able to try and start their own trends as it will gather more followers across different social platforms. With more followers means more engagement and therefore when they look at their analytics they will see who they need to target and who they are reaching. Therefore adapting there content to the correct audience. This is important because by being able to spot trends more people will watch the video to see how your company has adapted this trend and therefore they may share or like or comment the post meaning more brand awareness for followers and non followers.


A social media manager will also need good communication skills, not only online but also within the company. They will need to liaise with the marketing team in order to get the correct branding across to the correct audience and to gain more sales. A social media manager will need to pitch their ideas across various teams to ensure they are putting the correct information out and aligning with the company's values.  As well as this a social media manager will have to have good communication skills online, this will include replying to comments in a polite way, handling complaints in the comments and ensuring that the company come across in a good light. This will also link to good copywriting skills ensuring that captions and comments have correct spellings and they are doing no false advertising.  This is important because it ensures the brand cares about their customers because they are being truthful as well as human responses online to their queries. This means the customers will feel valued and will continue to buy from this brand.


Lastly a social media manager will need confidence when using software. When creating social media posts from videos to graphics you will need confidence using the different editing software as well as scheduling tools. Examples of this include, canva, photoshop, cap cut  and premier pro for editing and hootsuite, meta business suite and scheduling tools on each app.      By having confidence on a range of different softwares this means your content will be up to standard for the business and will be scheduled at the correct time for it to gain attraction from the audience. This is important because it makes the socials line up with  brand values which will then create consistency across all platforms which will gain more attraction from the audience, not only this but having confidence using scheduling tools means content can be published at the same time across different platforms therefore making the social media manager more organised.


Another professional attribute a digital marketer needs is good project management and organisation. This is the ability to control and organise a project to complete a specific role. A digital marketer needs these attributes as they need to be able to manage different projects efficiently and in an organised manner. This is due to the fact they need to meet strict deadlines, stay within budgets and manage complex data to prevent campaign failure. Having good project management ensures these issues will be prevented, especially if working with a team.


Another personal attribute a digital marketer needs is adaptability. This is being able to adjust to new conditions. This is because digital marketing includes a wide range such as social media, new technology and search algorithms that are constantly changing. They need to be able to change strategies quickly to fit with changing algorithms, potentially learn new tools quickly. In sales teams Sales Managers and Regional Managers are in charge of Sales Representatives. Help them do their jobs better. In roles, people who work above you may include sales managers, team leaders managers, who are responsible for overseeing your performance and setting targets while supporting a team.
